April 27th 2009 update: Just installed some C6 Z06 brakes. 14" Drilled Rotors up front, 13.4" rear. 6 piston calipers front, 4 piston rears. Needed 3/8th's wheel spacers and 1/2" longer wheel studs upfront so the calipers could clear the wheels! Huge difference in my opinion over the C5 z06's rotor/caliper setup. Here's some shots of the difference between 275/45/18's on the automatic c5, and 325/25/20's on the supercharged c5. Next mod is Nitto NT-05 tires all the way around, followed by a "Pro-drive" to split up my supercharger from my accessories so they don't all run off the same serpentine belt.
This is my 2000 6spd Z51 Coupe. It has 110k miles on the odometer, but runs stronger than my 01' with 29k miles. Currently, he has a D1SC Pro-charger Supercharger, B& M Short Shifter, LG Longtube Headers, 3" Bullet cats, and a Titanium Z06 exhaust. It's also sitting on 19x9.5 and 20x11 Z06 replica wheels w/ 275 wide front, and 325 wide rear tires. Quite the footprint. Dynoed 485rwhp on a dyno-jet. I'll get more pictures up later.
Pictures of my former C5 and my current C5. If my old man ever gets his C4s' cleaned up and running good again, I'll try and get pictures of the 5 corvettes parked together(fat chance at the rate he does things lol)
Update: Re-located the radiator, put the stock fans back in, and had my boost gauge paired up with a Cobalt Fuel Pressure gauge, and re-located to the A-pillar. The boost gauge is going to get replaced with a Cobalt as I love the blue backlight on the Cobalt series, and the regular Autometer gauge is hard as hell to see. Here's some night-time pictures so you can tell the difference between the regular boost gauge, and the cobalt fuel gauge in terms of lighting.
Night-time picture of my Alpine Deck. The lighting goes good with the Cobalt gauge in my opinion. I'll try and get more pictures and a video up in the near future(video will be a little longer though as my computer won't recognize my camcorder).
Latest kills have been a turbo EK-9 Civic running 15psi, a 600cc Suzuki bike, and a C5 Z06. Waiting for my friend to get his tune straightened out on his 98' Mustang GT. It's got a 2v 4.6 Cobra motor with a Vortech blower and Meth, as well as a 6spd conversion and 3.73 gears. This C5 is his old baby, so I'm sure if he doesn't beat me he's going to be a bit pissed to get beat by his old car. lol I'm also saving up for coilovers, output shafts, and a Textralia OZ700 twin disc clutch, and later on a forged LS3 motor, but that's 15k down the road. o.0
