I was finishing up work the thursday night before Christmas, it had already gotten dark and i blew through a blind stop sign. the result is as it shows below.
I got T-Boned by an '05 Ford Escape. the driver was doing about 50km/h when he hit me. his ride died out on the stop, i spun 180 degrees through the rest of the intersection and ended up just off of the road. we were both okay, but our rides were hurting.
After original inspection, damage was valued to be at just under $11,000. The insurance company decided to give it the go to fix, rather then call it a total loss. So after tallying it all out, repairs were giving to be 74.7 hours worth of labour, calculating it to be a lil more than 2 weeks in the shop...turns out with was 3 months and 9 days, but that's a long story. in conclusion, i'm busyin fighting with the place that fixed it cus they're tryin to really really screw me over...that and i've noticed some problems already. Here are a couple pics of my car after it got hit, the vehicle that hit it and a pic of the car in the shop as of jan 16th. enjoy..
For the record, yes, the dates a couple pictures are incorrect.
