O.K., I seem to be getting a few questions about the blue dash conversion. Some of the work was done by simply replacing green or amber LEDs with blue LEDs. Some blue LEDs replaced light bulbs and required the use of surface mount resistors. The process is pretty painstaking. Lots of soldering. V6illusion has written a DIY for the project. Check out his DIY page. He helped me do mine. By the way, the blue LEDs are expensive! I got most of mine from allelectronics.com. You can pick some up at most electronic stores including Radio Shack. Look for some with an mcd rating of at least 1,000. Good luck.
