This 1979 Thunderbid is my dads car i just thought i would put it on. this car came with a 351w small block. it now has a 460 4V with a camshaft, intake, 750 carb, lifters and we are looking for headers and the engine has chrome valve covers and air breather. the car also has air shocks all the way around so we can set the ride height. the engine is from a 1973 Thunderbird and has low miles on it. the 1979 was bought off a minister from here in Ontario Canada bone stock. *all pictures are older and i will get new ones in the spring*

Man, you are living my dream. My first car was a 77 about 15 years ago and it was mint, until I tore it up being young and stupid. Always had dreams of putting a 460 PI that I had in a 79 Country Squire wagon into that car but never did. Enjoy it!

Hi, nice Thunderbird! The headers you want are made by Hooker part # 6126, I had them on my Thunderbird and they fit very well.

Thanks for commenting back! How long have your ride? Hopefully you plan on keeping it a while longer- I bet you could turn it into a killer ride! Well...course there is never enough money, is there?
