THE SWORDFISH LIVES
This is my work in progress. I just had the windshield and cat. converter replaced, and the next thing in line is the head gasket which is leaking a little coolant out of cylinder four and appears to be putting a little into it as well.

As you can see she needs a lot of TLC, she has been sitting outside for 7 years in the rough Montana weather where Temp. is anywhere between -10* in the winter and 115* in the summer. This has basically destroyed the fuel system and a few other parts that I don't know about...

This is the Fuel Sending Unit it is rusted and and the wires are corroded. I called in some favors and I finally got a new sending unit

This is the fuel pump, it and all the parts in the tank are covered in a black tar like substance which we came to the conclusion was oil...(huh)??? All the rubber fuel lines had to be cut because the clamps were severely rusted on everything, I am also wondering whether or not the steel ones should also be replaced even though they are after the fuel filter.

I had to have the fuel filler pipe sand blasted and it seems to be fine to me.

After I get the car running i plan to put in a cold air intake but the body design makes this basically impossible, also the system takes in air from just behind the drivers side headlights (open for suggestions). Pics of the engine and stock intake...

theres not much you can do for the cold air routing. most just take the stock air box out and fabricate an elbow off the throttle body and stick it in where the stock air box was

I am thinking of putting a cold air intake on this car, I need some ideas of how to route it.
