UPDATE!!!!

Got my FMIC installed finally. DIY'd the whole project and cost me about half of a prefab kit.

She started out as a busted ass 92 talon. Owned by a kid who didn't know the cars potential. She burned oil, ran poorly, had mismatched engine parts, but was a steal for the price.

Even the engine bay itself was neglected and in disrepair.

Over the next 2 years i cleaned, modded, cleaned, modded, repaired, repaired, and repaired.

Then, something magical happened. I, by some sort of miracle, imassed enough money to buy a semi-built buschur motor. The process took longer than i expected. Complications with Buschur, Issues with removing the motor (and the few other things i had done at the same time).

2 weeks later, i'm rolling out of the bay with this.

Staticbrainwash's 1992 Eagle Talon

A VERY VERY LONG tedious break in process insued. Boost is slowly getting turned back up. And now after 2500 miles, i'm finally having some fun on her. (though i was having fun boosting promptly at 1000miles)

UPDATE: Spring is here! Mod time presents itself again, and i've got a few things on the agenda for this season. Fuel and tuning, fmic, and new turbo. Also, if i can swing it, a fully built IPT race a/t with trans cooler, temp gauge, and shift box. I'll let you all know of the process as this year progresses.

Update 2: I've now got a fmic sitting on my floor, but it needs piping. I've also got 2pot calipers to put on when i need brakes (which is soon). And i've got 2gb eclipse gst wheels coming. Takeing up my time right now though is tracking down why i'm throwing a cas and tps code. I'll replace the computer and said sensors and see if that clears things up, but that will take away from the small ammount of mod money i have right now. Ah well, happy boosting!

Present mods include. Buschur racing motor, 8.5:1 compression, removed balance shafts, 1g big rods, race bearings. Ported 2g exh manny and 02 housing. Ported out BIG 14b turbo. 450cc injectors, manual trans dsm ecu. Dejon intake and uicp, exhaust piping. Magnaflow muffler. Dejon MBC. Removed; cruise control, ac, emissions. Prothane MM's. Vac reduction, with high temp silicone replacement vac line. Custom VC, JM fab heat sheild. Accel wires, ngk bpr6es plugs. I'm probably forgetting a lot.
