hidden_power's 1987 Ford Mustang

THE ENGINE

this is not normal 1987 Ford Mustang LX engine this is a 1969 351C this engine is pretty rare for 1969 as i cant find parts for it that easy. now i did not swap the engine from the 69 to this 87 that was done by the second owner of the car. the engine has a cam , carb, spark plug wire, and an after market fuel pump and a set of headers right now because it was out of a Mustang i dont know how beefed up it was from the factory but i will be putting more parts on this engine. as you can see it needs cleaned up really badly but i haven't gotten around to that yet. the spark plug wires are cracked so i have a new pair to put on but i am waiting to clean the engine first. the engine runs great it started up in -15 weather on its first try from cold when i went to go and buy the car. there isnt to much to do ont he engine other that the spark plug wires, heater hoses and clean it. as for the fan and rad i know the fan was put in later and the rad i am not sure so if it wont keep the engine cool its gone and i will put a better one on.

Hey! Great looking project car you have there! Thanks for checking out my car. You asked about your guages on your site? You don't have to change your tach because it used to be a four cylinder car. My husband's 87 stang was a 4 cylinder car and now is a v8 car. Check his out here on the forum. His car is listed under "sublimelx". Check it out and good luck!
