This page I am going to keep my car maintenance and services done.

Before I owned the car

24 June 2004 - mileage 27,757
N6612 - wiring and/or connector - exterior lighting - repair or replaced

3 Aug 2004 - mileage 29,561
F2023 - seal, pinion shaft oil - rear differential - replace
C0182 - Regulator, front door window - right power - R&R or replaced

Since I bought my Trans Am

25 March 2007 - Mileage 56,202
I changed the engine oil with 5.5 quarts of Castrol SYNTEC 10W30, and STP oil filter. I also changed the fuel filter out. I was told by the dealer, when I bought my car. The dealer informed me that they did change the fuel filter. Well when I had my car up on the two post lift. I decided to look at the fuel filter. Just by looking at the outside of the filter you can tell that it was the factory filter. So I decided to take the old filter out, it was really dirty. I might start changing my fuel filter every two to three oil changes. Since changing the filter is not hard and it only takes about five minutes.

I also decided to Seafoam my engine as well. I dumped half a can into my fuel tank. Then other half of the can went down my vacuum line that is coming from my brake booster. Then I sprayed half a can of Seafoam Deep Creep into my throttle body, to help break up any junk that built up inside of my manifold.

11 May 2007 - Mileage 57,706
I took my car to the Pontiac dealer (Rottors Auto Center, Olympia, WA), since my engine is making a loud ticking sound. Well they looked at my engine and informed me that the loud ticking sound is my fuel injectors and that it was fine. I told them that the sound was coming from the bottom of the motor. After them looking at it they said that I engine was fine and nothing is wrong.

9 July 2007 - Mileage 58,983
I took my car to Firestone Complete Auto Care Center on Ft Lewis, WA. There I had Transmission Fluid Flush with new Filter, and Fluid. Radiator systems flush with long life coolant. For the oil change I had them use10W30 Full Synthetic Oil. I cleaned and re-oiled the Holley Air Filter.

6 Aug 2007 - Mileage 59,927
I took my car to Pontiac dealer (Rottors Auto Center, Olympia, WA), Had loud rattle - knocking noise. Both of my Cat Converters were bad, and dealer replaced them under warranty. Also mechanic found oil filter loose, and 3 1/2 quarts of oil had leaked out of my car.

Needless to say I called Firestone Complete Auto Care Center on Ft Lewis, WA and made a complaint and then called Head Firestone and made a complaint there as well. Since the Firestone Manager at Ft Lewis told me his mechanic should of could of, put did not put my filter on tight, but there is nothing that he can do but give me a free oil change. I feel that the Manager was being an ass, and there is no telling what the long term damage to my engine is going to be driven it on only 2 quarts of oil. All my driven is done on the highway 14 miles one way at 60 - 65 MPH.
