This is my brother's car. It used to be mine, but I was a really cool big brother and gave it to him. It needed a bunch of repairs on the electrical system. They would have cost more than I could afford, and for the money he spent, couldnt have bought a better car. Now that he has it up and running, he's beating around in it.
When he got the tranny replaced, the place he bought it from sold him a dud. He didnt have the money to have the job done again, so he almost junked it. We literally went to get all his things out of the car. The day it was to go, the tranny supplier called him and said he'd replace it for free.
It's back on the road getting daily use. This makes me glad.
Funny Story: I was driving around almost a year ago with my girlfriend, and she goes, "Old people are staring at us."
My 1992 Cadillac Sedan DeVille LaSalle Edition when I first got it around New Year 2007.
The very same Cadillac as it sits today.
That is a 15 inch American Racing Aero wheel. They cost me $200 dollars used. I cleaned them up and put them on. I pictured these wheels on this car since the day I bought it but I was even surprised at the difference.
Thats how the car looks now. I buffed it the same day I put wheels on it.
I had this idea recently. (Look at the three stripes on the fender.) They would wrap the right fender from the pinstripe up over the hood about 8 inches at the angle like that. I've seen these stripes on a special edition Corvette or something. I cant remember when or where though. I wouldn't do this unless I were to seriously upgrade the whole car. What do you think?
After staring at it a while, I'm not doing the stripes. I still like the idea, but not on this car.
Certainly doesn't seem to fit in on a college campus, does it?
A foggy morning at the lake.
