Here my little sleeper that I like using to confuse the hell out of the local street racers with. Its a 1975 Volvo 242 that I puposley left stock outside so as not to tip anybody off of whats underneath. I built her all my self and shes powered by a 96 Vortech 350 chevy with a T-5 % speed trans. I used all the normal performance goodies like MSD 6-AL and an Edelbrock Air Gap intake and a Holley 750 Carb. I think she has around 300HP give or take. All I know is that shes faster then a Mustang 5.0.
Alot of bllod sweat and tears went in to this build with custom Engine mounts, Custom front crossmember to acomidate a bigger radiator not to mention numerous trips to the local Parts house. You should have seen the look on Joses face (we are on a first name basis now) when I walked in with two coat hangers bent into the shapes I needed for radiator hoses. The job took about 5 weeks and $3000 but that was with alot of hookups.
