1966 Buick Riviera GS 2 dr. Sport Coupe,425 cu.in /360 HP

This incredibly fresh and beautiful 1966 Riviera GS, was originally purchased in November of 1965, by a well to-do cranberry farmer from the Hammonton area of South Jersey.

After driving the car locally for 6 years (mostly just to inspect his huge cranberry bogs, or a quick jaunt to the shore, only 20 miles away), the car was given to his son,

who within weeks, started having transmission troubles with the car. It was taken to the local dealership, where GM authorized a NEW transmission for the car. The son drove the car for another year, and went off to college.
At that point, the car was put in a barn, covered in 1972 and forgotten about til now.
As the second owner of this 36,000 original mile car, I realize why these cars were so special, and so few and far between. With power windows, power brakes, power antenna, power steering,A/C with tinted glass all around, 6 way power seats, and even a tilt steering wheel and remote trunk option.
I have also installed the "wood wheel" option, as well as a nice, new old stock set of Factory rubber mats...

It is really amazing to see what $4,763.00 bought you in 1966 !
By the way, the color of this car is the same as 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado "Trumpet Gold", however mine is painted 2004 Nissan LeMans Sunset Orange Metallic", over gold flake.

I presently have the dual quad set-up taken off the car, and am currently running the single 4 bbl Carter. When and if gas ever gets back to $1.50 a gallon, the dual quad unit will go right back on the car.
Believe me.This Riviera is scary quick with just ONE 4 barrel carb....
