This is my 1971 Toyota Corona Mark II, a very "rare" car, actually the first time i saw a car like this is when i instantly bought it in a abandond house somewhere in Antipolo Rizal, Philippines. until today i never had a chance to see a look a like car. Right now its under a very carefull restoration process. enjoy the view!
I am very lucky to have this car, its in good running condition, body was preserved, no dents, no major bumps or even accidents. Interior is like new, everything is still in original form, and the most suprising part is that the millage is under 50,000km. i beleive that it really run only on that range. the engine though i bit rusty is still running perfect, no leaks anywhere.Upholstery is still original with corona logo at the back and also it still has the original seatbelts. like what ive said its under restoration, ill post more pictures on the restoration process.
Everything was removed and it was scraped to metal. were on our final stage, the body ia ready for painting. ill post pictures as it progress.
lastly, can i seek help from anyone? i having trouble searching for a replacement of the windshield rubbers or glass moldings, anyone who knows where to buy it? i badly need the original because it has a stailess strip on the rubber winsheild. Please help me, anybody. please! please! please! for replies you can email me at jerry_eusebio@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing.
