Well, the rust battle continues. The scuttle panel (the one where the wipers attach) had problems on both ends, and a spot in the middle. Originally I was going to fix each end but eventually decided to replace the whole thing.

Out came the spot weld cutter and got rid of the old one.

There was a rusty area right in the middle so it was cut out and replaced. After I test fit the engine, I will be filling in the carb hole and re-working the firewall to clean it up.

Then the new scuttle panel was fitted. I also welded the two extra wiper holes closed for a cleaner look. I also planned to use a single washer nozzle in the middle so I also welded up the two washer nozzle holes.

Coming along quite nice that intake/carb set up is something else going to be a good challenge keeping it under the hood and as for the avonbar well now thats a find! Keep updating!

Hello Again! That Mini is sweet! I got Gabriel Hijacker Air shocks for mine finished in white. Cant believe you found one with only 19,000 Miles! It will be awesome when its done! 5STARSFORSURE!
