Well, I got a little work done this weekend. I paid a little attention to the engine and painted it up. I actually got around to doing a compression test on it. It was around 190psi on all cylinders!!! I have been told that the average is around 120psi for most vehicles so this thing should be a screamer!! I see some high-octane fuel in my future. I don't know the compression ratio but with those numbers, it should be a little high-strung!! Thanks for all who voted on a color choice but I have chosen to go with BLUE!! I couldn't come up with a color I liked that went with orange, so i went with a contrasting color. here it is before!! And here it is after!!!! (you can see the new fanblades as well) Here it is with the oil filter housing on, the custom made MSD 8.5mm wires attached and the new 85Amp Delco alternator installed.. Heres a shot of the clutch cover before and after. The release bearing was SEIZED SOLID!!! I had to hammer it out but it's smooth like butta now! Everyone is telling me I am going to need an oil cooler so I got one out of a Nascar racecar. It's a bit big but it will do. I also made custom-made braided oil cooler lines. It helps when you work in a shop that makes hydraulic hoses!! That'll cool her down!!
