it is a 1991 gmc jimmy and it is a 4x4 and it has seen the off road a good bit

All I have done is shackle lift in the rear and turned up the torsion bar in the front and had it realigned must shops can't align it with the torsion bars all the way up and don't like to at all. If you don't want to do that check these guys out http://www.roughcountry.com/chevy_4wd_s10.html I plan all putting on this lift hopefully this spring they are not to hard to do but will take up the biggest part of a weekend, and you will have to rent a special tool from a parts store to remove the torsion bars to complete the lift.
