bripab007's 1991 Mazda MiataHere's a pic of my '91 Mariner Blue alongside my parents' Greddy'd '92 black and tan after an all day waxing job (quite the reflections, eh?). I still can't decide whether to go the turbo or N/A route, but, the fact that a 1.6L Greddy kit is only ~$1,250 means its pretty much the way to go I think.bripab007's 1991 Mazda Miata
bripab007's 1991 Mazda MiataThis was my first race in the CSP class (thanks to those lowering springs!) at Cecil Field. I have a lot of fun autocrossing with the SCCA; it's tremendous fun, but I've still got quite a bit to learn.
bripab007's 1991 Mazda MiataHere's my friend Rob tearin' around some cones at Whitehouse Field; he's got a good deal of racing experience and has taught me a lot in the field. Looks like the car could use some beefier swaybars.
I do believe he gave the car quite a workout.

And here I am at Laguna Seca right before the start of the Spec Miata race that day; you can see me about 14 or 15 cars back in the 2nd row from the right...

Okay, so maybe that's not me, but it sure looks like fun!

I wanted to vote on your poll, but I'm wondering if you got a lot of cash to go with. If your in the 10g range to spend then go with the NA route, which is so darn rare to see. Expect 200hp@crank on NA power with a BP swap. But if you want to go turbo on a stock motor then you can get near to that on just 5g or so. I personally think it all depends on your taste and money. Or go ask Bill Gates for some money to do a twincharged setup! LOL! But man that mariner blue is fabuloso! Keep it up!

Good looking car! Those black rims are really radical. Gives you car the real attitude :)
