Interior: Bone stock, but very clean. Stock CD+speakers work perfectly and sound great....amazing considering the setup is 15 years old! Will upgrade it when time and $ allow. Recently installed a leather shift boot to replace the vinyl one+a Razo leather shift knob, as both boot and knob were cracked and worn.

Interior: Leather repair on side bolster worked well. Most MX-6 I've seen have this part of the drivers seat worn or torn. Leather repair is actually very inexpensive- this work, plus the lower side of the seat and reconditioning cost only $100.

My current plans are to keep it rust free and restore the suspension, re- paint the roof, improve brakes etc. Follow the KISS (keep it stock stupid) principle. Only real mod is a ebay cold air and it helps a bit. Recently I replaced the front control arms, tie rod ends and sway bar links and bushings with a kit off bay ( so inexpensive ) and it is much tighter in the corners. Also put on Michelin Pilots and with that combo it rides and handles great. Roads around here are just so crappy, I don't want to lower or stiffen it up much more!
