-Blown head gaskets suck....
-I did all the motor work myself in my garage with hand tools haha
-All my parts i ordered from JEGS, except for the new heads and intake, which i picked up from Re-Power in Visalia Ca.
-I didnt mess with the bottom end because there was really no need to. The old saying, "If it aint broke dont fix it"...well i just kept that in mind. Its only got a little over 100,000 so it should be just fine for now. I didnt want to mess with the cam and then it not pass smog. I would just have a big mess on my hands.
-The ugly smog pump is blocking my view...haha oh well...
- It took me a few days to put everything back together, after waiting over a month to get my heads. I used the same exhaust manifolds because of smog. As soon as i can find a set of smog legal headers i will throw some on.
-I just have to add this...It runs amazing! The power i gainned is very noticable, and once i change out the old 3.55 gears with 4.56's, then i will really be impressed im sure.
