Sorry guys, haven't been on cardomain for a while now cuz of computer problems but im trying to sneak some updates while im at school. Ive been driving the truck since mid october and it runs great. chenged my m ind on the exhaust, i know have Flowmaster super 40's and i got the tips coming out just before the back tire, like the original plan. the truck really needs a stall and a shift kit, other than that im impressed with the power. will try and update more often, we got a new computer sitting at home and when we get it up and running ill get some new pics

TO DO LIST:
-Buy new front bumper

HEY my names Shawn im 16. I have a 1987 GMC Sierra Classic that i purchased in september 06 for $3500. The body is in great shape with a few minor scratches and dings. When i bought it had dual straight pipes with glasspacks and the pipes were cut off before the back axel. I love that sound when you step on it but when you let off and it backfires that sounds like shit so i had to change it. Its fully loaded and everything works inside, but i wish it had crank windows because you cant put any speakers in the lower part of the door because the window motors leave no space. It had a 305 TBI with 251000k on it in pretty bad condition so i thought for how much money and time it would take working on the 305 it would be good to buy an engine in good running condition. So i bought a carburated 350 with 90000 kms out of a similar truck for $750. I had no intentions of going this far but one thing led to another and about 3 grand later(give or take), this is the stage im at.

CURRENT MODS:
- Aftermarket rims

5 stars just isn't enough. Great job on your rebuild. I know some day I'll do that to my engine. It just hasn't grown up yet. I just don't have the mileage to need the rebuild yet. I really admire the engine work. Seems the USA finds little value in the 350. It's the best made engine ever. Recently the cash for clunkers plan was to destroy 350s. Oh and the 350 and 4.0 Jeep engine lasted the longest to be destroyed. I own them both. What a waste...
