Here we go, so hold on to your hats, and is you have dial up, then you need faster internet ;)
I wanted to do this swap because the 2.3 N/A mustang is BADLY!!!! underpowered. Also I have to go up a huge hill to get to and from high school.

This is a way to use different connections in place of a VAM connector. I used 2 MAP connectors and took their pins out and used them. They will work, but its only for a temporary time until you can find a VAM connector (many cars used VAM)

Moving and getting the 2.3 turbo engine ready for the swap

Getting the stock 2.3 N/A engine ready to come out

2.3 N/A engine out

Empty engine bay, rusty but who really cares??? its going to be a DD

Swapping my injector rail and harness over because the connector for both the fuel rail and electrical connection for the injectors are different than the merkurs

Bad clutch, cracked flywheel (to many cracks to count) and a bad pressure plate

2.3N/A in it new home (lol)

Stock A4LD, has to go back in with the 2.3 turbo since I could not find a good t-5 for under $300

All acc. swapped over to the 2.3 Turbo

Taking the computer out and re-pinning

2.3 Turbo in its new home

I broke my damn heater core, so I have to fix that now. It was leaking before but oh well...

Difference between the 1 wire and 3 wire o2 sensor

Trying to take the 3 wire o2 sensor out now because it was bad

Had to move the linkage connection so it would work properly

No more EGR or A/C :)

More engine pictures

Old, bad, misfiring spark plug/new spark plug

More engine pictures and my new FPR

1 wire o2 sensor being used for now, have to be creative with wiring so it doesn't fall out lol

Knock sensor wiring being lengthened so it can be used (crappy fuel)

Wiring the VAM in, in the last picture you can see the original VAM connector that you should use. (Thanks MG Man)

Old Vs. New FPR

Old engine being taken apart for parts to keep. I plan on porting this head and un-shrouding the valves, machine flat, and just swap heads, one days work that gains me 30hp??? maybe more?

Custom catch can I made because I kept blowing valves cover seals. It solved the problem and my intake wont have an oily residue on it anymore.
Keep an eye out on here, I still have more pictures to add, its just my cars not here lol
