This is a How To place on my cardomain.
Custom Cold Air Intake, I spent $40 on thins whole thing, all you need to do is...
1)Make a template of where you want your intake to go (make sure there is clearence and mounting places for the pipe)
2)Go to a muffler shop, they should only charge you about $30 for the pipe or less.
3)Mount the pipe to make sure it fits where you want it to.
4)Clean the pipe both inside and out because there will be some sort of coating both inside and out.
5)Take all the burrs off the metal.
6)Take your intake boot (top on that conects to the Throttle Body) And cut it so your tube is going the way you want it to.
7)Paint the intake what ever color you want
8)Put it on and see how it performs.
** Some gains I noticed is I got more HP (about 2-3) I also got better Idel, better throttle response, and I gained about 2-3 MPG)**
If you have a mustang that uses a Mass Air Flow Sensor, then make a mounting plat so it will be able to be mounted.
***Also, make sure you mount this well or else it will shake around and might fall off***
Here is a picture to show how I mounted it (sorry it took so long, have had zero time to work on the car)
