This is the page where I show you what rust issues I have faced, and trust me, this would be a few hundred feet long page if I had a camera when I was doing all the work.

The total effort that I have in getting the body in great shape so no dings, or dents would show up, or rust bubbles for that matter, there is about 50 hours in just trying to get rid of the rust. So far it is working, but the worst area by far is the hatch, and yet there is only 2 little hole in the whole thing.

When you are going to get rid of rust in your car you should keep this in mind -->> ALWAYS!!! make sure every trace of rust is gone, or it will come back, even with a paint that says it stops rust. and if your panel is nothing but rust, save your time and get a new panel or if the panel is not replace able then at least get a sandblaster to clean it up for you.

Here is some more information for anyone working on a mustang hatchback, if you have rust under the hatch, remove one of the rubber plugs and feel for rust, if you feel it than you need to either cut all that rust out (or it will keep rusting) or go get a new (or used) hatchback door, or what ever its called. For where I live its only $37.

But if you are like me and want to try to save it here are some things you need to get
1. Sandblaster or a wire wheel for metal
2. Primer
3. Auto Body tape
4. Time
1st take the wire wheel/sandblaster to the SOB and give it hell, then take your tape and cover anything you don't want it primer (WINDOW!!) then start to prime the area and this is what it should look like after words.

Then paint the area with your car color and your done!
The reason I have not painted the area yeat are because I am going to paint the interior black and the outside blue, when the body work is done I'll paint all that area black so it wont be easy to see, and will blend in.
