I've got a couple things on my wish list...and just looking at some of the other trucks on this site keeps adding more to the list.

I guess I'll start with the exterior, its hard to ever trully be satisfied with the height of a truck once the lifting begins...I am sure it is the same when lowering but since I dont have the money to be spending $2-3 grand on some giant 12" lift I will likely be doing a modest 3" body lift with gap gaurds and call it quits for a bit

Maybe sometime in the future upgrade to 38"s but if I do that I will definately have to regear the rear end.
I am looking more at a prerunner theme, I plan on going with the FabTech Desert Gaurd w/ skid plate and I plan on mounting 4x 8" lights, 2 above and 2 below the hoop. As in "88"...I know that looks stupid but it illustrates the point.

I've got a deal right now with the girlfriend that if I dont crack up my truck at all this winter she'll buy it for me this April...so thats in the bag.
Working my way back from there I had my mind set on some sidewinder electric steps but since have decided I prefer the side steps from N-Fab a bit more.

Seeing as a 35" spare wont fit under the bed and it will use up a larger portion of the bed area I have settled on the idea of a roof rack from ORS which will hold the spare as well as up to 4 off road lights in addition to the 4 on the front bumper

If I do go ahead with this I will be installing a 2nd battery under the hood where the passenger side brace is...and purchasing a dual battery wiring kit from "Painless". I will be purchasing a Smittybilt Predator rear bumper.

To finish the exterior off a set of tail light gaurds will accent the tail lights. All external steel will be black...nothing too flashy.

And a set of Pocket Style Fender Flares to keep the rocks off the paint. Painted to match of course.

I dont do much towing with the thing...but my other project truck right now is a '67 Kaiser M715 thats sitting out in my yard. I already have the 44x19.5 Boggers and now I am just looking for a set of rims that'll fit...16.5x16 if anyone knows where to find'em. Anyways...in order to assist with a little towing I will likely be installing the Ride Rite Air Bags

To keep this thing level...big trucks look stupid when towing and the nose is to the sky...in addition to it being dangerous. I already have the Class 4 hitch installed...but the rear leafs can't quite handle the weight of that beast on my trailer!!

Ultamately I would like to have the tailgate handle reversed and clean up the door handles...either escalade or maybe the "Thumper" style handles...not settled on that yet. It would also be a nice thing if the fiberglass tonneau was motorized...something else for me to think about. All this is way down the line...as in around the time I was able to swap the front suspension over to a solid axle, in other words...quite a ways off.

Now onto the interior...

I Plan on picking up an Escalade Gauge Cluster, likely on Ebay. I wouldn't mind finding some nice heated leather seats but I have located a couple different kits where you can do all that yourself so I am not too worried about that.

Last but not least, Performance, the first thing will be the Hypertech Programmer.

In order to make sure all the lights and other accessories have enough power its a no brainer that whether I have 1 battery or 2 they will be Yellow top Optima's.

Since I have been on this site I have seen a couple STS turbo kits and they look really good...so that has kinda jumped on the back burner list.

A new idea has come to mind, instead of mounting a spare 35" in my roof rack and having to deal with unloading it down for a flat I having been thinking of going with something like this.

Great looking truck! Once a car full of girls took cell phone pics of me while I was literally inside the engine bay of my '84 working on the small block outside my apartment! Its up there 8" so there is no better way to work on it. Good luck with it.

very nice truck man. Saw it over on GM-Trucks forums and wanted to check it out. I'm going to probably get the same intake as yours. I like what you have done. I can relate to the sotry with your ex too, its true though truck is always the most faithful you will get.
