1989 Ford Tempo AWD Project. Found this low mileage (83,000)Garage kept AWD for $150.Car is in top condition as for any rust and interior. Engine ran good (No Smoke)but did have a rod knock. Eveything else worked fine. The clearcoat on the top of the car was comming off so a paint job will be in order as well as an engine rebuild. Here it is, a fresh rebuilt HO HSC engine now has 3 miles on it. Next comes the body and paint.

I have a 1991 Tempo AWD that I am rebuilding to specs. I am troubled by the rear end. When it is in AWD the rear end chatters when I make charp slow turns. It seems to be a defect in production. Have you experienced this? It seems to equal a 4X4 I had before that had possi-track. What do you think, and what is your feed back? Thank you. Stu Vancouver, British Columbia Canada
