B3Vr6's 1996 Volkswagen Jetta

Here it is my 2.0L '96 Jetta GLS. GTI front end and headlamp swap. OEM Euro side indicators. Quattro 90 wing. GT Rear lights w/ GT side skirts and gauges'.
Custom Paint which is the orignal color with a heavy metalic silver added. Riding on Stock 14" GTI rims re-coated in gun metal, with new Goodyear Eagle ultra ice grip winters.

The side shot. As you can kinda see the GT skirt has cracked and broke off at the front. A new one has been ordered from VW and should be here in the next few weeks.

Rear view. Spoiler is from a Audi Quattro 90. Not my idea...previous owner. Still debating weather to take it off or not. What do you think?

Front view. As you can see it needs new Indicators. I have ordered Smoked Crystal with real fogs. However the shop I get my stuff from are currently out of stock and they only do quartly orders from Germany so it will be a couple months.

Hey man, long time no speak... Hey I got a question for you, on your jetta, do you have a system in it yet??? If you do, do you know where a good spot in your car was to hook up the ground? I'm having a pain in the butt time finding a good spot to hook mine up, and am having no luck at all... Let me know... Thanks.

Hey, how far over the border is Tappen, BC? I'm from Bellingham, Washington so I'm right on the Can. border.

Ya no problem. It's a lot easier doing a project like that if you have some help and suggestions. I got a lot of my ideas from a friend, and it really improved the final quality of my car. As far as your engine, ya i agree with you, don't mess with anything that doesn't need messing with. I do prefer the VR6, just because of the general power, but if you are satisfied, by all means keep it the way it is. I still would look into some suspension upgrades once you get more front end body work done, because it really adds a nice look. Exhaust work also obviously helps, but once again that's definitly a personal preference. Anyway, oh ya, also, i noticed when looking at the pic of the rear end of your car, that your emblems were taken off, but you haven't yet shaved the area yet. I would definitly do that, because it really improves the cleanliness of the car, and its not too hard. Anyway, any questions and answers, add me to your friends, I'm more than glad to help. Also like I said, keep checking for some upgrades on my page, as soon as the snow goes away and i replace a couple things, I'm gonna do a lot of work, maybe including but not limited to a couple of turbos. So i'll keep in touch.

Hmm. I like it, it is pretty clean looking and a good start. I would do more to the front end, just to make it stick out as a conversion car. The headlights look good, I would recommend a badgeless grill, and perhaps a new bumper. When you get the bumper on, a chin spoiler always looks good, and is relatively cheap, and extremely easy to install. After that, I would definitly put on some rims, if not before all that. Its tough to find good chromes, but if you can find some fatter spoked 5'ers, you would be ok (like the longbeaches on mine). Hmm... what's next. I like the spoiler, I'd keep it. I actually never thought about putting a bigger spoiler on my car, but yours is actually nice looking (as long as the color matches, I can't tell). Maybe do a little bit of performance work, maybe exhaust, suspension (definitly suspension), but I wouldn't want too much more then a VR6 under the hood. Great lookin car though, definitly a fun project! Any questions don't hesitate to write!
