The car on the rotisserie.After cleaning 40 years of dirt from the bottom and replacing part of the floorpan.
Passenger side quarter. Started removing filler. 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick in some places.
Passenger side rocker. It also had heavy filler.
On the bottom view of rocker panel it appears that the damage was limited to the outer rocker. the inner rocker is straight and there is no buckling of the floor pan.
Rusted area removed from floor pan. Patch cut and held in place using butt welding fixtures.
Initial MIG tack welding. These weld points will be stitched together using many more tack welds.
Completed patch panel on the right.
Here's the view underneath the car of the passenger side floor patch panel. I butt welded primarily because I need the practice.
