Performance/Engine:

Engine: 2.3L w/ a 5-Speed. I know it only has a pathetic 90hp, and 135 lb/ft of torque, and that I can barely get it to 90mph, but I still love driving my car. I truly would love to have a 5.0, or a 2.3T, but that's just not an option right now. I originally removed the air silencer, and put in a K&N air filter, but I recently put in a CAI that I got from Mustangs Unlimited instead. It's really just a pipe, with an air filter at the end, but I can definitely tell a difference from stock, though not much from my previous setup. I also replaced the stock prop rod with a chrome one I got for Christmas, and added a stainless steel radiator cover that I got for my birthday. I had to keep the stock radiator brackets on because they also attach to the fan, which otherwise would fall off. I also repainted them with a better paint. I also just cleaned my engine bay last month. It really needed it, as I'm not sure when the last time it had been cleaned. Someday, whenever I do get the guts, time, and money to put in a better engine, I'd like to paint the engine bay black like the underside of my hood, and probably fill in the ugly holes. Here's some pics of my engine bay, before and after.

Suspension, etc:

I recently installed my Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs. I think it's about 1.5" in the front, and 1" in the rear. I also put on a used rear sway bar from an '84 SVO that I got for $25. I've heard of people getting them for $10 though. It's a really cheap easy mod for performance, and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. In the future, I'd like to get a 5.0 front sway bar, new shocks and struts, and subframe connectors. I'd also like to get a short throw shifter.

My Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace that I got for my b-day!

I had to put of piece of rubber hose over part of the brace, because it just barely touched the top on the alternator, and it made this awful loud noise, and made the whole car shake. I also filed a little bit off the top of the alternator for some extra clearance.

Update on the altenator: I wasn't getting enough power for my sound system, and I didn't really like having a cap, so I decided to get a 130 amp 3G alternator from PA Performance. I also had to upgrade a lot of the wiring. More than enought power now!!! The sad part of this is that I had to take out my strut tower brace. There was absolutely no way it was going to fit. I'll try to figure something out later on.

Exhaust:

It's all stock for now. I recently had to replace my muffler and tailpipe, because of rust holes. I wanted to get a dual exhaust put on, but the people who did it couldn't bend it around my sway bar or something. I could have waited a week and have another shop do it, but it sounded like crap, and was seriously embarrassing. I might still do it, but I still haven't decided...$$$. I'll probably put on a 3" exhaust on anyway, if I go turbo.

That's all for now. :)
