After the making of Squirt, I began looking for my next project. I've always kinda liked Subaru Brats, but am partial to the 1st generation, because I like round headlights and the stub nose. Imagine coming across one with all the options I wanted! This one still has the jump seats, the nerf roll bar and push bumper, and a sunroof. The body is in fairly good condition, all the sheet metal is straight and rust is minimal. The engine runs, the 4WD works, and it came with a ton of spare stuff. Spare engine, spare tranny, spare CV joints, spare tailgate, and spare sliding rear window. I picked it up for $700. Let the restoration begin...

Hey nice Subie!! You should check out MySubie.com. It's a new Subaru social network w/ tools to help enthusiasts find parts, reviews, mods, pics, events, and more. Let me know what you think.

cool bratt, i have a 79 with the rally package it will soon have a lift, i'm playing with a few thing's i dont want a block style lift so i'm looking at the sys off a newer subaru they are wider than the 1st gen bratt's so my idea would raise the bratt and give you more travel for offroad but i've yet to put this theory to work
