Hey been over a month since ive updated again. not much has changed still running the same set up on 25psi of boost. runs strong. i put up a few new pictures on page 3 the Dart Swinger next to mine is my good friend Don's its a sweet ride. i got a few more mods i want to do after the first of the year so be on the look out for updates!

Hey everybody, its been a while since ive updated yet again. car is running awesome as ever, me and a few friends started up a local car club called Hurricane Hotrods and we started holding weekly meets and monthly events and its blown up since we started a few months ago, last night we had over 60+ cars, everything from a supercharged 350z to a 550+hp 03 Cobra. right now im running 25 pounds of boost in the baron, it hauls! im not really sure what else ive added since ive last updated but i just recently bought some Magnecor KV85 8.5mm spark plug wires, and i bought them not thinking i would notice any difference, but i did! made the car more responsive and the wires it replaced were autolite pro's and they werent but 1500 miles old. im going to put up a few new pics on the engine page and exterior page. check it out!

Been a while since ive updated, since then ive got the greddy type S bov on the car and it sounds and works sweet, its a cross between a hks ssqv bov as far as the chirp goes but its more drawn out and sounds sort of like a lazer gun. I finnally got my custom calibration from turbosunleashed and man it runs sweet. cold start and hot starts just fine, that was my main concern with going with a cal thats set up for 52pph injectors. that Enforcer 2 loves 20psi and it spools up pretty quick now with the new calibration compared to the stock computer. nail it from a roll and the tires instantly go up in smoke :) right now the car is sitting because all three motor mounts are busted up (stock style mounts dont like 20psi i guess? lol), i have a set of polybushing solid polyurathane motor mounts on the way. ill update with pics when i get the new mounts in.
6/10/05
Not long after the turbo mopar meet i blew the turbo up on it. So i found an Enforcer 2 turbocharger from forward motion from someone local for a very cheap price, he ran it on his car for a couple months and thought it was too laggy. so i put it on and yeah, its a lil laggy on bottom end, but it makes full boost by 4 grand and then its GONE! lol i love it. its a .63 turbonetics housing with a stage 2 turbine wheel, and a 46 trim compressor side. I also have my greddy type s blow off valve now in. Right now im just running an open downpipe, man it sounds sweet hearing that big ol turbo spool up then hearing that bov go off. New pics on page 2!

Hey everyone, been a while since ive updated yet again. today i took the baron to the FLSDAC car meet at the renniger's clasic car and cycle swap meet and show and the baron won top 25 out of all the cars there. i finnally got my custom calibration like last week and hooked it all up and to make a long story short the board fried for some unknown reason so i had to send it back to be fixed. but while it ran it ran NICE. 20psi sure does get you goin in a hurry. lol. hopefully i can get the cal back very soon and get my +40% injectors, and 3 bar map back in. i also won the bid on a greddy type S blow off valve on ebay last week and that should be here tommorow :) check out the pics of the car meet from today on page 3.
3/25/05
Been a while since ive updated, i am going with a custom 3 bar set up. i already have the 3 bar map sensor, +40% over injectors, AFPR, and some other parts i need for the custom calibration i ordered from Turbos Unleashed. im having it set up to run 20psi of boost on pump gas. and ive recently installed a front mount intercooler out of a diesel NPR truck. and ive upgraded to 2.5" intercooler pipes. now i just have to find a cheap HKS SSQV or Turbo Xs Type-H blow off valve. I put a picture of the engine bay with the new 2.5" intercooler pipes on page 3. Better pics soon.

still running as smooth as silk and getting the best gas mileage ever, with 30mpg crusing at 75. and around town i get about 20mpg. who says you cant have power and good fuel economy!?! ive got some cash burning a hole in my pocket so look for some big upgrades soon. i got a few new pics with the good camera i have that takes them at like 1600x1200. so check out the pages for new pics.

IT LIVES! man is it quicker. new pics on page 2 and 3.

I blew the headgasket in the baron almost two months ago. its been sitting in the garage since then. most of the time has been just waiting on parts to arrive. but now all the parts are here. i bought stainless steel braided turbo lines, MP 2005 headgasket, vacuum manifold, valve cover gasket, a Garrett T03 turbo, and a bunch of other things. ive been pulling everything apart and cleaning it and polishing it or painting it. the whole head/intake/exhaust/turbo assembly is together. however today is thanksgiving so no stores are open for parts that i may find that i need while installing it all back together so im waiting until tommorow. on my list of things i know i have to do before i can get it in is putting thread sealant and tightening the turbo oil and coolant lines and one final cleaning of the cylinder head and block mating surface. and to tighten the bolts connecting the turbo to the exhaust manifold. it should be running this weekend, and i couldnt be more happy! ive been reduced to driving a SOHC auto neon for the last two months and i hate driving around seeing ricers and v8's being jackasses and me saying to myself "now if i had my baron id teach that boy a lesson." check out page 2 for some pics of the work ive been doing on the car.

Just got done installing a new water pump, alternator (found out when my dad owned the car and had a new alternator installed sometime in the mid 90's that they replaced it with a 90amp unit instead of the 120amp that it needs) a new 120amp went in it, along with belts, also i installed a new 180° thermostat with the 1/16" hole drilled. The car is running great. I also bought some Meguires NXT Tech Wax, easy to apply and leaves an awesome shine. next for replacement of parts will be a new battery and a new radiator. im adding pics right now so check the other pages out.

Blew another axle apart on wensday, this time it was the drivers outter cv joint, and no, motor mounts were not the cause. i guess it just got weak, im not sure how however, being that it was a 3 or so year old Mopar axle. Threw a new axle in it the same day and its back on the road a few hours later. new axle is holding up great. i will be buying a large FMIC and a nice BOV (havent decided on a brand or model yet, its between the RFL, HKS SSQV, or Greedy Type-S) and installing it, then a dual stage boost controller will be installed. be on the look out for those mods comming very soon.

Got new pics of my car with my friend Ivans 89 Turbo GT hard top baron. And i also replaced the transmission mount that was destoryed after half a year, pics on page 2 of that and new pics of the car with Ivan's car on page 3.
7/14/04
New 5th injector installed, was very easy to fab up and install. My friend picked up a 89 Turbo GT expect to see that on cardomain soon. been keeping myself pretty busy with the cars lately. check out page 2 and 3! updates soon!
6/07/04
Intercooler pipes and exhaust work has been done! check it out on page 2! and i have added a newer pic on page 3! the exhaust and intercooler really woke this car up! on the list next... 5th injector and more boost! stay tuned!
5/07/04
I updated page 3 with some other new pics from the new camera i got. Also added a picture of my A/F and boost gauge on page 2. More updates comming soon.
5/05/04
I have put the intercooler pipe/exhaust system project off till summer. i dont have the time in my schedule and i cant put up with the shops problems too. however i did get a new camera that takes up to 1600x1200 resolution pictures, it also takes short video clips. i will put a few pictures up on page 3 showing the quality of the pictures. if you want the blown up size of the pictures contact me. (they make great desktop wallpaper!)more updates to come!
4/18/04
I still havent got my intercooler pipes or exhaust done yet. my bad luck continues. the shop was closed. im hoping i can get it done next saturday, i am really starting to get annoyed with the whole thing. the guys said they would be open but they were closed because i got in my car and drove all the way over there and they had a big sign that said that they were closed because they were on vacation. anyway, i painted my brake calipers and put up pictures of them on page 3. i may be redoing the site a bit. the pages are getting kinda long. especially page 3, sorry 56k users.
4/12/04
wow ive had some bad luck lately. today (the day i was suppose to get my intercooler pipes and exhaust done) it stormed all morning. i got the car to the shop and they didnt want to do it in the rain. also the owner said his exhaust man didnt even show up to work (he didnt know if he would or not). but if all goes well i can take the car in saturday (my next free day) to have it all done. so today instead i changed the radiator hoses and brake pads and resurfaced the old rotors (werent bad at all) i also painted the calipers with VHT "aluminum" color brake caliper paint. i didnt paint the drums in the rear (i think it looks kinda goofy when you do). more updates to come soon.
4/9/04
the baron is now back and running great. went today to a u pull it junkyard and picked up a FPR off a 88 Chrysler Lebaron GTS Turbo. also i picked up a few MAP sensors and Baro silenoids. my exhaust system and intercooler pipes will be bent/installed monday! so look out for updates. i also put more pictures of the baron on page 3!
4/8/04
my intercooler pipes and exhaust will not be bent/installed tommorow due to a leaking fuel pressure regulator, which has allowed fuel to leak into my vacuum side of the regulator which has let gas into my MAP sensor. i havent been able to find a parts store with one out of Napa, advance, autozone, even the dealer (they want 150 and it will take a week to get HAHAHA they must be out of there mind!) that could have one in stock so i could put it in tonight and have a running car tommorow. so hopefully i can find one over the weekend and get it installed and hopefully have it all done monday. needless to say i was quite pissed when i started my car this morning and it ran horrible. thinking "today of all days". however The Black Baron shall return!
advice to anyone with code 13 who cant figure out what is causing it. take the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and check it for a fuel smell or even look for fuel. in my case it had been leaking for quite some time because there was even fuel residue on the fuel rail itself!thanks to TurboDave off turbododge.com for that one!
4/7/04
Got my muffler and tip today! i think im in love. haha. they will be installed friday. my dad brought up the idea of side pipes, now i have to decide if i want to do that or not. it may be too low. but it would sure look neat and set it off from everyone elses car. check out the pics of the muffler and tip on page 2!
4/02/04
Update time. I have found a shop locally that will do custom bent intercooler pipes for me. they will be 2" pipes with two 3/4" flanges on the upper intercooler pipe 6" from the TB, i also have a D valve that i bought at Lowes the other week ago and im also debating having a Y pipe added on to install it into my upper intercooler pipe as well. The shop is also doing a custom 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust for the baron. The shop owner quoted me at 200 dollars or less if i include the muffler for the exhaust system. all the pipes are steel also. Its a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. so today i ordered from jegs a Dynomax Race Magnum Bullet muffler its a round 2.5" inlet/outlet muffler and i also ordered an exhaust tip. its a 2.5" inlet and dual 3" outlet chrome tip. its made by Hooker Headers.
It should all be installed and running by next friday!
3/25/04
Time for an update! The first intercooler has been mounted. Its just that finding the hoses and all can be a major pain to find hoses for running it, it seems that everyone seems to only carry the stuff i cannot use such as PVC pipe. I am now seriously debating going to an exhaust shop and having them bend me up some pipes it will cost more but in the long run will probley work out better. I added pics of the intercooler mounted on page 2 and the picture of the bracket that i made for it. And on page 3 i have added a few more pics that i took today (before i washed it)look for updates soon!
3/23/04
Last night i was looking at cardomain and just happened to click on the top rides page and my car was top car #3 for interior! thanks to everyone who voted for my car! also the intercooler is now mounted with all new brackets. the passengers side of the intercooler is now connected to the factory bolt for the 2nd low note horn and the right side is connected to where the headlight motor is connected to its brace. the bolt holes on the intercooler have been made so that they can be adjusted and they have also been angled to be able to hook them up to the headlight motor brace in the middle. then the needs to be an extra supporting brace at the bottom that i made from a peice of metal with holes drilled in it from homedepot. and it will be welded to the side of the intercooler then bent and bolted down in factory holes at the bottom of the radiator support. pics to follow!
3/21/04
My intercooling project is underway with dual ford probe intercoolers mounted up front with water sprayers. the inlet/outlet will be upgraded to 2" or 2.25" pipes. i have pics of the intercooler i have gotten first on page 2. I have also put a few new pics of the exterior on page 3 and page 4!
2/22/04
The baron has been sitting with the same mods for too long now! its time for some more mods! so keep a look out for new things to come very soon! last week i was runnning with an open downpipe, but that is just wayyy too loud (ears ring for hours after you have got outta the car) im going to be getting myself a 2.5" exhaust system set up and a dynomax ultra flow muffler.stay tuned!
1/24/04
been a long time since ive updated. got into some trouble with the law with the baron. i quit driving it for quite a few months. now im back. and with new rims.there MB Mottoring 17" wheels with Kumho Esctra 215/45/17 tires.
9/27/03
For the past few days i have been redoing my entire car domain site in notepad. i wasnt happy with the site the way it was because everything was a jumbled mess, so here it is. hope you guys like it. but about the baron, i checked the cam timing last night and the cam timing is dead on. im not sure what is going on with it. but im going to get a Fuel pressure gauge and a compression tester and some new plug wires today.
9/26/03
new motor mounts are in.... now my timing belt has decied to jump a few teeth and my ignition timing knock itself off to 8 degrees! the ignition timing has been fixed. but the cam timing is still off. so its not being driven. i am just going to kill too birds with one stone and replace the orignal timing belt so i dont run the risk of it jumping again. should be back on the road by next week some time.
9/13/03
The Baron is currently off the streets and has been for about 2 weeks now. i keep breaking axles (thank god for lifetime Warranties)and i can change them in about 20mins max now! the problem is axles are soo hard to find (well.. ones that fit!), and when you break them every week it gets kinda annoying have to either have your car towed or changing it on the side of the road. so the motor mounts are getting changed out to some nice filled (semi-solid) motor mounts. ill get some new pics up soon.
8/14/03
The Baron now boosts right up to where ever i set it. I had to convert my grainger valve into a flow thru design instead of using the cut out rasier style. I also found out why it would only boost to 4psi stock. When i would run without the waste gate line hooked up it would cause the computer to think it was overboosting so when i hooked it back up it would be limiting boost alot to keep it from cutting out. So all my boost problems are solved ;)
