SOLDDDDDDD
Okay so recently I decided that the 3000gt sl wasn't fast enough for me and that I wasn't a big fan of FWD, so my buddy told me about this 240sx for sale and i kind of got interested but didn't really think much of it at first. I gave the guy a call, and just asked if he would do a straight up trade. He agreed and we met in portland, me and traded. 1994 Mitsubishi 3000gt sl, if you want to see it look at my other car, for a 1990 Nissan 240sx se fastback with an SR20DET motor swap. when he took me for a ride in it i just about shit my pants.. this car is very very quick.
Here's the new motor

the body needs some work, and i plan on getting new front fenders, possibly a body kit, but might just go with 91-94 front bumper and rear bumper, i like the stock body style to cars but i liked the roundedness of the newer 240's better. Also plan on getting new hood, and springs and rims by the end of winter.
Hopefully soon i will upgrade the turbo and injectors.

Recently I purchased another 240sx, this time a 1991 the Chuki body style. This car was for parts seeing as how it had a good, full interior, a good body that was ready for paint and coilovers, also better looking rims..

both of my 240's sitting outside

I decided to start out with the front end.. so here goes the old front end.

Here it is with no bumper fenders or hood.. looks niceeeee .. look at that hugee front mount!!

Heres me getting ready to put in the new headlight assemblies

New headlight assemblies and hood :)

And finally the front end came off the other car.. so im in the process of putting it on.. heres how it sits in the small garage where im doing all my work.. I still have to trip the bottom of the front bumper so that it fits well with my front mount, it would be nice to have the front mount kind of hidden.. sleeper :)

Well the front end has been put on! after some trimming of the front bumper I finally got it to fit. I still to align things a little bit better but its on so im happy hah.. here it is

the front mount is hidden alot more now..

I also just recently purchased a set of 180sx Kouki tail lights which just came in today! 3/07/07

I'll be putting these on sometime this weekend..along with an oil change
03/11/07 - Okay so I didn't get to do what i planned this weekend, but I did take off the stock tailights and put in the koukis.. just for fitment though.. i still have to do all the splicing.. here what they look like in place..note that the bumper, hatch and rear fenders will all be primered soon and not black

March 29, 2007
Just took some pictures of the car.. a few interior pics with my Corbeau Seats.. and some outside pictures. The front end will soon be taken off once again to cut a bigger hole for the FMIC and I also forgot to hook up the turn signals ahha. It will also be aligned better and all the gaps will be even, but heres the updated pics. 7 spoke rims from the parts car are now on it..coilovers will be put on soon. Also I messed up wiring the kouki tail lights, so now they light up how they should.

4/11/07 Okay, so today I started sanding down the car so I can get it ready for primer and paint. Not sure what I'm gunna do for a color right now, I was thinking a semi-flat black for now til I can save up for a real paint-job or learn how to do it myself. But here is the progress so far!

4/12/07 Alright today I did a little sanding but I was way more determined to get the coilovers off the parts car. I ended up just getting the fronts off because I broke a socket and now I need a new one haha. But here are some pics of me getting out the coilovers and replacing them with some shitty stock suspension I had lying around.

4/14/07 Okay, so today I got the rear coilovers off! Woo! Pretty pumped about it. Took a while cause I broke a ratchet and two sockets thats I needed. When I went to go put the rear stock suspension back in, it wouldn't fit right, so I really didn't bother taking the time to try and get them right. So the PARTS car is sitting on blocks with the tires on and its tucking so bad haha it actually looks pretty cool. I'll have pics up soon and I'm in the process of installing my coilovers onto my daily driver now!
Only got the rear coilovers on..

Here is the parts car with no rear suspension. I had to put blocks under the tire so I could get the jack out! lol

4/18/07Well today I finished up and got all 4 coilovers on. Im not sure about the ride height yet, but its pretty low. I like it, but I don't know if it will work well on the NH roads. We'll have to see. As you can see in the last picture the front bumper hole has been cut out to allow more air for the FMIC, its just a rough cut for now. Before primering the car, I'm going to go back and smooth it all out. Here are some pics..

The bumper doesn't line up in this picture because when I was cutting the hole I took out the bumper foam and didn't bother putting it back in because I knew the front end was coming off again for paint..it'll look better.. trust me hah

Here's the paint!
