Alright this here is my 1991 LX Hatchback that I purchased for $450. The guy I bought it from had it set up for drag racing but never got the money to drag it. So there was little carpet in the car and the door panels were crap. The weather stripping was bad so the carpet was wet when I removed it. As I was saying I got the car for $450. The car is a rolling chasis, no engine or tranny, no seats, and power everything. It came with upper and lower intake, injectors and fuel rail, alternator, flywheel, timing chain and cover, and some other little things. Just to tell you guys a little back ground about me, I am only 15 years old and I apprechiate all the help I can. I am a member of mustangforums.com and its a great help to me. The reason I am pretty much restoring this car is because before my mom died (died on Feb. 21, 2006) I promised her that I would restore a mustang before I graduated high school so here I have started. I would apprechiate every tip and suggestion I could get. The car is currently black primer and it used to be red which I plan on painting it sometime before the May of 2007. Plans I have are for the interior anyways is converting the interior to black and and putting down something like dynamat underneath for noise reduction. Cd player of course and maybe a cb radio as my dad drives a truck and stuff. Putting in new speakers and maybe a good sound system or whatnot. For the exterior I plan on painting her red (stock red) and of course putting a spoiler on her (maybe saleen) and possibly shaving the antenna as its not there. For the engine just maybe have a stock one or a combination of cobra intake, GT-40(P) heads, and a E303 or B303 Cam. For the tranny I'd like to convert her to a manual if I can get the parts cheap enough and probably going to stick a T-5 in her with a MGW short throw shifter. Suspension wise maybe lower the front a inch or so and keep the back about the same, going for that hot rod look. And for tires I might run some gunmetal cobras, it all depends on how she looks when shes done. Also for exhaust I would like to run either some BBk equal length headers, bassani X-pipe, and the SLP Loud Mouth 1, I want this baby to roar! Its a lot to do but if I have access to the parts etc. then she can be done quickly. I would love to have most of her done and on the road by April as thats when my b-day is. The offical start date was December 30, 2006. Thanks for looking guys and any suggestions and tips welcome. Thanks!

Thats when we brought her home.

The tail end of her.

The dash, oh ya the 140 speedo!

Just a view from the hatch when the carpet was still in.

Driver door with the bad door panels on and carpet still in.

Passenger door with the bad carpet and door panels.

After a little work I got rid of the carpet and door panels.

Drivers side view, rid of the door panels and carpet.

Passenger side view, rid of the door panels and carpet as well.
I will be posting more and can't wait to get her finished.
