The poor truck got hit by some jerk in a Grand Prix, who then fled the scene. Have an excellent description of the vehicle, but nothing has turned up yet.
The truck is a 1995 Dodge club cab long box with the mighty Cummins 12 valve turbo Diesel and NV4500 5 speed. Currently it has approx. 363,000 miles. The modifications include a K&N/AEM cold air intake, ATS Arc-Flow intake manifold, High Tech Turbo Street Stock 62/13 (stainless steel turbine housing), custom ground fuel plate, 4000 rpm governor springs, 191 fuel delivery valves, Dynomite Diesel DDP3 90 horsepower injectors, FASS 150 gph fuel system, full 4" exhaust into a Flowmaster Delta Force 40 series muffler and 5" bull hauler stacks, South Bend Con FE clutch, AMSOIL 15W-40 diesel oil and filter, Auto Meter Phantom II pyrometer and boost gauges, 2-2.5" Skyjacker lift coils, Skyjacker nitrogen shocks, Steering box stabilizer and new style adjustable track bar from Dynomite Diesel, Firestone Ride-Rite air bags, 315/75/R16 Pro Comp Xtreme A/Ts, Alpine CD player, 6 disc changer and Sony Xplod 220W 6x9 speakers. We've owned the truck since 1999. It has been pulling our 12,000 lb race trailer for years. The only problem we've had with the truck is a water pump going bad. The current power numbers are unknown, but adding everything up shows well above 400 horsepower. It builds over 44 psi boost. Expect over 600,000 miles on this truck!
I installed an AEM dry-flow cone filter in place of my K&N. It's a noticeable difference. There was quite a bit of gunk and dust inside my intake tube from the K&N. We'll see if the AEM stops that. My EGTs dropped an average of 50 degrees during normal driving. Cleaner engine, lower EGTs, more power. I highly recommend switching your current filter to an AEM dry-flow.
