THIS WAS MY 1955 BEL' AIR.

I got it off of my dad's hand about 2 years ago. It didnt run or anything. It was just a big rust bucket that no one had time for. Well I found the time for the car after I graduated high school.

Well, I started to put it together and had to do alot of modifying just to get it to standards to hit the road.
This car has the original 235, and original powerglide trans. The ignition system is upgraded, as well as the charging system (alternater ect. modified). I did the interior myself, which was the hardest to do. The opnly thing left interior wise is the head liner.

I will have pics of the inside soon!!!
It is also airbagged on the front,As you can see in the next pic the bumper is almost sitting on the grass but the cassis is. Has a kenwood stereo in the center glove box. And 4 kenwood 12 inch subs in an inclosed box. This is powered by 2 Kenwood 1200 watt amps. Also has a 13 inch drop screen in the center over head area, this is why I have had a hard time with the head liner. Pics of this will be up soon.
Females cant resist,

And the MUSTANG that you see in the 3rd picture. that one has been worked on too. It started an LX 4 cyl. And now it has a 302 carborated engine. With a 720 Holley carb, Edlbrock intake manafold, T-5 Tansmision, with ACT clutch. 383 differencial gears, an LSD. Hooker headers, flow-masters dumped under the driver/passenge seats

Nice 55 Bel Air! Nice ladies on the hood, too! I'm interested in seeing your Kenwood stereo in the glove box. I've seen that done before and am interested in maybe doing that myself down the road. You got plenty of room for the rest of your system, don't ya?! Personally, I like the four door models as much as I do the two doors. Check out my heavy-Chevy sometime. 5 *'s

Best place I have found to look for cuda parts and restoration stuff, other than Ebay of coarse is to pick up a Mopar Muscle magazine or log onto www.moparmusclemagazine.com. The Hamtramck registry is a helpful site too.
