The first step in the defense of those nasty speeding tickets.

Here we are removing the cover to the wiring harness for the rear view mirror so that we can neatly hide the power cable for the Valentin1.
With a white coat hanger, we're pulling the RJ11 wiring through the ceiling panel to the power source.
After the RJ11 is pulled through we have a nice clean, unobstructed view.
Wiring the RJ11 directly to the ceiling panel that controls the sunroof, dimmer switch, OnStar Mircophone, and lights. The detector automatically turns on when the vehicle turns on and shuts off shortly after the vehicle shuts off.
And, here's the completed behind the mirror. No more cables in the way and it is pretty easy to disconnect. Same plug as a regular phone line.
Installed and active.
