After taking care of the rust I layed down 3 coats of "rust bullet" paint which is gaurenteed to never rust out again. I also took my carpet out and cleaned it up so I didn't have to replace it, replacing it would have been nice but cleaning it came out really well and was free. Also I picked up some black leather seats out of a 2000 Camaro SS that had 50K original miles before it was wrecked (too bad the guy had already sold the ls1/t56 combo!
then of course since I like to add subtle custom mods, I installed a cupholder and used "wrinkle" paint to give it an OEM look.
