Got a bunch of pics uploaded, just need to find the time to redo this page. Just a quick before and after for now.
10/8/08 Sorry about the lack of pics and long updates, but once i get the pics taken i'll clean up the page and list the mods. As of right now she's almost done, everything but a few extras (trim pieces, wiper arms, ball hitch, etc. The entire truck except for the grille is painted GM storm grey, and the grille is silver with a storm grey middle section. The bed has a spray in liner (over the rail). New oem taillights, corners and side markers. She's sitting on a 2 inch body lift with 15 inch american racing outlaw II's and 235/75/r15 Bridgestone Dueler AT's. Chrome exhaust time and tailgate cap. The once tan interior is now black, grey, and silver, with a few touches of camo :). The bigger wheels really changed the feel of the truck, the gearing is higher and is more suitible for highway driving now. The truck came out way cleaner than any of us expected, and we're hella proud of it. I'll try to get pics up as soon as all the extras are on, and list all the work done, along with a couple of before pics and a few pics during bodywork if i can find some. If, you're still reading after all of this, thanks alot, check back soon and i'll have some pics up.
7/17/08 Alright, i haven't updated this in a while, but a lot has happened since my last update. As of now the cab is done with bodywork and sitting in primer. The bed on sawhorses and is almost done with sanding and ready to start bodywork. The wheels and tires are sitting in the garage ready to put on. I repainted the grille, and there are a bunch of new peices like a new floor, mirrors, weatherstripping, dash pad, and a few belts and hoses sitting around that we'll put on after paint. The 2" body lift is installed. We're painting it a GM factory grey color (I forget the name). The wheels are 15" American racing outlaw II's with Bridgestone dueler AT's 235/75/r15. Things yet to be ordered are:
Seat (black vinyl)
New steering wheel (stainless with black handle part)
New door panels (black)
Bed and tailgate caps
And after all this we'll be painting the rest of the interior black and grey.
Sorry, no pics yet, but i'll post some when i take some.

Well, my brother starts driving in june, and he's gonna be driving the danger ranger. My dad wants to fix some things that need the most attention. So a few things planned to be done are:
-Body lift, new wheels and bigger tires
-All necessary body work and a new coat of paint
-New floor, dash pad, and a seat cover
-Replace worn steering components (tie rod ends, etc.)
-Tinker around with the engine to get it running as smoothly as possible
-New weatherstripping
I'll update the progress on it as we get to them. My dad's in no hurry, so it'll be a while lol.

Just updating the page since its been a while. The ranger hasnt seen much action since i got my new truck, just a few hunting trips to places too overgrown for a new truck, and i used it for a week while the F-150 was at the body shop. Besides that it's just been sittin in the yard collectin dust. I took the toolbox out the bed last time i used it because a bunch of banana spiders and roaches found it a good home lol. It'll stay sittin til june when my lil bro starts driving it.

The Danger Ranger has temporarily resigned its daily driver duty, until my brother starts driving. I now have a 07 F-150.
I'll still update any work done on the ranger, so check back often. And check out my F-150's page here .
This is my 1986 Ford Ranger, which friends have named the "danger ranger." It's a regular cab 4 cylinder w/ 5 speed manual transmission. Pretty old and beat up but it gets me around. So far it has a 2" lift with front spacers and rear AAL's, 5% tint on the back window and 35% on the side windows which i did myself, a JVC MP3/CD head unit, and a $20 Roadmaster speakerbox from Wal-Mart(i went cheap on the speakers).
Pretty muddy (got stuck hunting the day before)
Inside
JVC head unit
2" front coil spacers
The front lift messed up the alignment (as you may see in the pic), so i couldnt put the new rims/tires (15" American Racing Outlaw 2's w/ Dayton 235/60/15 A/T's) on. They want a fortune to fix it, so i'll replace the 2" suspension with a 3" body lift. Hopefully that goes well and i can finally put the new rims/tires on there.
I installed the JVC iPod adapter today. No need for cd's anymore. I forgot the camera so i dont have any install pics but it was pretty simple, just plug into the cd changer jack and hide all the wires. Here it is.
Adapter and iPod in glove box.
(put it in a bag to keep it clean)
Head unit playin off the iPod.
$20 Roadmasters beatin'
(thought i'd put it up just for laughs)
