Well, she is comin along slowly. got a new tailight and i started pounding out the roof and what-not. i also picked up a new set of rims, since it is going to be a trail monster, i decided to upgrade to steel wheels, and put my nice aluminum ones on the wifes jeep. stay tuned for updates!

Picked up these rims off of a 04 Jeep Liberty...for free! My buddy brad salvaged them from the scrap pile. I also finally got 31s but will probably need a lift before going bouncing around on the trails too much. as they say, keep moving forward!
UPDATE!! 1-16-08-THE CRASH!
Thats right, i rolled her doin about 50 mph. going down the highway, there were people doing 70-75, and then there was one lady doin 35 right in front of me, so i went to pass, figuring that way there wasn't two of us in the road almost cuasing an accident. i got almost all the way around her when the jeep started to skid on an icy patch. There was also a pickup coming up behind me, so i fishtaled, shot in behind her figuring i could just go in the ditch, when WAMO! a sign pops up, and i nail it on the drivers side, which toppels over the Jeep. Damn signs and slow drivers! anyways, here are the pics, and there will be pics as the progress of the reconstruction begins! stay tuned as i reserect a 95% totaled jeep!

from a distance, doesn't look all that horrible...but

this is why the damage was 4700 bucks!

is the roof supposed to be that low?

Ugly, ugly
and she puked her guts out!
So in summary, it will need a bit of work before it is back on the road. But, as Kanye West proclaims, "what won't kill me, will only make me stronger", and thats exactly what the Jeep will be over time! The list will include new drivers mirror, tail lamp, and fender flare, and a new windsheild. About $500 in parts, and a lot of hamering. well, stay tuned!

THE GOAL
My goal for this project was to build a nice looking lifted jeep that went on a few off-road excursions every now and then. But with the recent accident, i decided this will become a Mad-max weekend warrior. Plans include 4" of lift, 31s and steel rims, full rollcage, diamond plate back luggage area with a full tool set-up, the sky is really the limit right now.
