This is my fourth escort. My first was a 93 GT auto the trans went out, that was a hand me down. My second was a 4dr LX 5sp, got it with a cracked head.(white) I payed $100 for the car and another $100 for another motor/trans, that lasted about a year and a half.(still runs) The main seal blew and leaked about a quart of oil every 3 days. Then i got my 91 GT 5sp, a bit rusted but i payed $100 for it and about $50 in parts and it still runs. Although it didnt run when i got it. i bought an ignition module, cap and rotor, started but not driveable. then i thought...I replaced the heater core..RIGHT ABOVE THE COMPUTER! took it out, took off the lid and let it dry out, it was wet. after it was dry i installed it started right up. (silver) But I needed something a little newer and less of an eye-soar (to others). I loved it though. Now I have my 98 zx2 5sp, its the nicest Ive had but its not my favorite, but Im happy.(black) I got it 11-18-06.
The first couple of major mods will be exhaust and intake. Soon these will be on and ready for something else.
If you noticed i have different wheels on all 3. only set of escort wheels i dont have is the 94-96 GTs and anything newer than my 98 zx2 (2 full spare steelies)
