Bought this car as a project near Chrismas 2006. As you can see, the Air Conditioning is missing Compressor and Condenser. Everything is still intact with the rest of the Air Conditioning System. Engine was said to be a fresh rebuild, I removed the oil pan and valve covers to put new gasket in just in case. I witnessed the engine to be extremely clean inside as if it had just been assembled. I also put new seals in front and back of the transmission at that time. I painted the firewall and front pieces as I assembled the car. I installed the new trunk pan and tail panel. The fuel tank was Epoxy coated and I installed new sending unit, fuel lines, hoses and filter. I replaced the master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, brake pads, all brake lines and hoses. I painted the car myself last spring with Shop line single stage Urethane paint. EVERY BIT OF THE BODY WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL AND PRIMED WITH EPOXY BEFORE PAINT. I color sanded and buffed the car, there is no orange peel. I just buffed the car again Saturday, the shine is BRILLIANT! The wheels are painted with a base/clear high grade paint. This car starts First crank and sounds very aggresive. The transmission feels to have a shift kit. The suspension is very tight and responsive. I've listed primary items that I can recall being replaced, of course hoses, hardware, belts, etc. are new in the process. The undercarriage has the original undercoating and no sign of having rust on frame or bracing, just the sheetmetal in the trunkpan that I had replaced. The car has Frame Connectors and Traction bars.
I have many pics and would be glad to Email them upon request.
I planned to keep this car when I bought it and still did until last weekend. The car is very quick, but I never drove it stupid. This car is a real head turner, and I hate to see it go. If you plan on buying, it can be driven anywhere. Keep in mind it is geared pretty low.
I have title in hand and expect full payment within seven days of Auction end. Please don't bid unless you commit to buy this car. I wish all bidders could see this car in person.
