onlylandon's 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme


This is my first car, 77 Cutlass Supreme with 143,00 miles, 79,000 original miles on motor, taken from 1970 Delta 88 donar car. This car is equipped with
tight stk high compression 455 (non egr)
4bbl carb
mild comp cam
shift improver (slightly softer than stage 1 shift kit)
3.08 eaton posi rear end
dual exhaust with dual hump crossmember
110 mph speedometer
rallye gauge pack
digital clock (scrolling clock option for 77 only)
cruise control, a/c, power windows, locks
plastic quater moulding trim was replace with stainless steel (produced only on early 73 coupes with vynal tops)

This was my first car. I was 15, purchased in March of 1998. Things that needed to be done were;
-repair mutiple body seams, vehicle leaked water heavily
-repair rotted front floor boards
-replace all weather strips including door sills
-new moulded carpet and new insulation
-repair crack in far left of dash
-redie most interior trim
-new vynal top were 2 pinholes of rust underneath were
repaired.
-repaired 8-track player, clock, and rear defogger
-repair minor rust on both rear quaters
-replace totally rusted rear bumper with used from arizona
-rebuilt rear end, take out 2.41:1 gears intall 3.08's
-rebuild TH-350 trans and install shift improver
-freshen up higher compression 455
-install high density 4 core rad.
-stock a/c and cruise from 77 350 bolted right up

hey was going on guy i m dying to find the quarter window moldins like the ones u have.im trying to change my rear end but dont no much about it it sems confiusing and i want to get it to burn out with my big rims do u tink its posible

hi very nice looking Cutlass. I have the ralley rims and steering wheel but the guages only go to 85mph I didnt change any of that stuff, but if i did you think the Speedometer would be accurate? thanks check out my page if you want.

Landon, the car looks great! Funny, my first car was a 77 also, bought in May of 92. It's good to see another 73-77 out there. Best of luck with it! Check out my two when you get a chance. Oldsmobile forever!
