Motor mounts - notching for A/C compressor
I got my motor mounts from Brewers Restoration and Performance BRP.
After a thorough steam cleaning and getting rid of over 30 years of factory rustproofing (aka steady dose of oil leaks) this is what was left of the engine cradle.
Next up was some test fitting and measuring to ensure the motor was straight, square and aligned up properly. Then the motor mounts were welded in (no I'm never going back, although I did keep the numbers matching block and tranny for prosperity) and the engine cradle was notched for the A/C compressor. We notched for enough clearance so the A/C compressor can be removed if needed without having to pull the motor.
Added a lil beauty paint ;)
