My car (a 1990 FWD Talon) went under a complete makeover. After a "Fast" wreck it needed,,well ALOT of work. I got the car in 2001 for $6500.00 with only 120,000km on her! She had never seen winter and never will (I have a 2004 SER V-Spec Sentra for that lol). I worked night shifts, saving for a year to buy her! So-far I have spent $31,550 on restoring her. Of that $6000.00 on suspension repairs/rebuilt rims/Eagle F1 tires/KYB shocks. Another $5800 went into bodywork (yes I have the receit). Her new motor is a JDM Cyclone 4G63. There is less than 20,000KM on the powerplant! Mated to new "stock" axles and a new 5spd tranny, I'm hoping for daily 13's on street tires. Why spend so much on her? I have had this car since I was 18 years old and in College (Police Foundations) so we both have a long history! I will NEVER sell my DSM!
