1jzsupra89's 1989 Toyota Supra

Picked this up in December of 06, 148k on the Chassis, around 50k on the engine and tranny. $4000 and I got my dream car. The back seats were pulled, so with the exhaust it's pretty deafening, but she runs like a champ so I figure I can deal with it, though I'm looking for some sound dampening. No real mechanical problems, no damage to the chassis or body aside from a few minor scratches, no rust, etc. Targa top is going to get a fresh coat of paint as soon as a nice, warm day comes by (and I get off my lazy bum). Now here's what you want to hear:

1989 Toyota Supra
1jz-gte engine swap
Greddy 3" Downpipe
HKS Drager Exhaust (AKA Baby Cannon)
VDO Boost guage
K&N Filter
Manual Boost Controller -- 14 PSI

Probably a lot more to come..

Hey I really like what you have going on so far. Keep up the good ideas. I plan to lower my car next week with a full set of H & R Springs...and yes the roof racks will be gone when I will be at the show lol. I am also new to this site and was wondering if u could drop by and check my car out and comment on what u think I should change. I'm also going to be entering into the Nopi Nationals down in Hampton, G.A. and I don't know if I have a good chance or not because this show is like one of the biggest car shows ever in the United States!!! Keep in touch! Again, sweet ride

Lol. I pulled mine out and added some 50 dollar Wal-Mart lights. It adds to the air intake as well, check it out on my page 3. I am a member there but I don't post there often. I live at i-Supra though. You should check that one out. It's a lot less popular so you can ask more questions with out being embarrassed. Lol...

I really like the way our cars look in white. Hopefully one day it'll get repainted so all the scratches, marks and tape will be gone. And that disgusting trim. Bleh... But thank you! I love the way the front of yours looks with the yellow fog lights. Where did you get those? Or were they already on?
