When you think of a Golf TDI some things that come to mind are reliability, and fuel efficiency. What doesnt come to mind, however, is all wheel drive and 147 hp. HPA once again stepped outside of the box and turned this diesel commuter car into a street gripping menace, and a fuel efficient one at that. Starting with a stock 2 door Golf TDI, we removed the stock motor and replaced it with a European spec TDI motor. This engine swap already ups the power quite a bit, of course, here at HPA there is always room for more. Once on the hoist, the rear floor pan was cut out and a European 4 motion floor pan was put in place. Although the conversion is time consuming, it is all OEM so fitment wasn't too much of a problem, making

things a little easier on our end. To give the Golf a little more attractive exterior, an R32 body kit was installed. After all was said and done, it was time for the dyno. this new 4-motion Golf pumps out 147 hp, which is about 60 hp more than the stock North American motor.
