Basically the car is a 1984 Turbo with 8 valves, there's a few nice accesories in the car, leather interior, electric windows and a roof hatch. Sadly, the front leather seats were in poor condition so I replaced them with seats from a Porsche 911 SC. I originally bought the seats for my former -90 900 Aero, but never got the chance to fit them in it. Porsche-seats could use a new coating, but student's budget doesn't allow it at the moment.

I bought the car in the spring of 2006 from a fellow saab-maniac, it was overall in a very nice condition. Mostly rust-free and equipped for example with a front-mounted intercooler and a dump-valve, bleed-valve controls the boost-pressure and suspension has been upgraded with Lesj?fors -35 mm lowering springs and Sachs dampers.

I changed the old top to a better one, the old one worked for 290 thousand kilometres, but after some problems i decided to change it. The new one has been modified a bit, turbo spools much more nicely now. I have fitted the car with a 3" downpipe, the battery was already in the trunk so this was quite easy. Now I'm thinking of replacing the original rear muffler with a free-flowing 3" one. :)

FMIC from a Volvo 240/740 Turbo fits in quite nicely, still I'm thinking of replacing this with a cheap chinese aluminium intercooler.

I also decided to install my mobile phone somewhere visible so I modded a holder of a piece of metal and an old Nokia 3210-case. Here you can also see the panel which I made for the boost-pressure gauge, the APC-controls (not in use atm) and the knock-led.

Great to see another cared-for 5-door '84 in good hands, you seem to be very practical if u r doing those mods yourself. PS: are those wheels Minilites?
