***Appreciate all the Showoff votes and glad you've enjoyed my lady... that didn't sound right, did it??.. :) Thanks for the opportunity and for choosing my ride, Car Domain!***
Welcome to Mission Progressive Tuning's street Mustang page. "Louise" started life as an automatic, but was soon swapped to a T-5 5-speed manual. The Mission-tuned Mustang is now roots blown, with many other parts to compliment this mod.
This car was consequently in 2 pretty harsh accidents. This is pound for pound my favorite car ever. So I kept reviving her and just wouldn't let her die. The first accident consisted of "Louise" vs. a full sized Chevy truck that left my whole passenger side destroyed, plus a snapped axle due to a road sign I danced with while spinning sideways. Got her all patched up and a few years later a guy pulled out in front of me crossing my lane of traffic and the front end was finished. As is the case with most people modding their vehicles, it was an accident that prompted me to make a few changes. I always wanted to be completely different with this car, and I saw the perfect opportunity at this time. That's when I stripped off all the EFI pieces and started toward what you see here. Hope you enjoy and I appreciate your visit.

Here, I'm gettin things closer to finished in the engine bay, with my Dad, Rex, and big bro John T. We had to swing the alternator down and around approx. 45 degrees to make room for the blower snout and tensioner pulleys. We also had to measure for the right belt and deleted the a/c. We re-used the a/c pulley for an idler. The wiring of everything was fairly straight forward, and everything on the car works just as it did from the factory, with the exception of the a/c and fog lights due to my personal preference for this particular vehicle.

Coming very soon will be a higher rise intake, high flow heads (probably Trick Flow), blower cam, and we'll be turning the wick up a little more on the blower. Will be upgrading to 10-rib setup as well. Also going to figure out what kind of wheels and tires to run, as I'm just enjoyin burnin up some little 225/60s on the stock 5 star wheels right now. Overall, just gettin used to everything and havin a good bit of fun the way it is, but thats sure to get old soon, as it always does.
