Heres what I did to the exterior don't be afraid to try yourself. I always liked the look of blacked out cars so I did my best to black out mine at a minimal cost. First up were the side vents, venders sell screens for $50 and up, cant the that hard right?
Started by dismantling the inner fender, tieing away the plastic piece the is glued to the inside of fender and pushing the fender off the car 2 inches by wedging cardboard, now with working room I traced the opening, added 1/4 of an inch to all sides and made 1 inch thick tabs for a template.

Then taped it to a large 4X8 ft piece of screen mesh material I purchased at Menards for under $10.

Cut it out, taped off the tabs. (Sticky tape wont stick to paint) Primed then painted Flat Black

Wraped the tabs in 3M automotive double sided tape, preped the fender with rubbing alcohol, heated with a hairdryer and presed in place. Here they are installed.
Easy enough, now on to the lighting. The stock side markers stick out on a black car, well time to fix. With the front clip off (more on this later) I popped out the front markers, removed the rear tailights and got the two rear markers out. Cleaned each with rubbing alcohol, then warm water and soap.

Masked off the backing.

Once more wiped down with Rubbing alcohol and sprayed Nite-Shades spray on tint. The stuff is super sensitive and runs quite easily so do light misting coats, I did 8 coats for the desired darkness,

Then 4 "wet" Clear coats. By wet I mean putting on a normal thickness coat, waiting 5 minutes (the clear is still wet to the touch) and adding another coat, the effect is a super thick, super strong coverage that dosen't run. However no matter how well you paint you'll get orange peel.

So after 12 hours of dry time, wet sand and polish back to life

Here they are reinstalled
Boy those are dark, Light couldn't get through those!
Guess again.
I did purchase a GS Creations Tail light Kit for my brake lights. They're high quality and easy to install/ remove if so desired.

To finish the rear I used some 5% window tint on my reverse lights.

Finally the front, why pay over $100 for a peice of metal that gets tip tied into place or stick a peice infront of te stock grill thus redusing airflow (ok minimaly but still a decrease), and will most likely be on someone elses car at a meet/cruise? Taking the front clip off isnt hard: 13 bolts and 4 push pins once you get the foward inner fenders out (tight working area otherwise simple)

Mocked up a piece of the same screen mesh used on the sides.

Cut excess material off.

Screwed into the stock grill's mounting holes - pff easy..

Removed the screen, painted flat black like the sides and reinstalled
Reattached the clip, unfortunately my flash makes the grill look grey, but it is infact flat black in color like the side units.
They're you go, my transformation to create "Sinister C6" I'm waiting until Spring to have the rear glass professionally tinted to 5%, large window tinting is not my specialty.
From the factory the car comes with two little "GM" logos on the lower part of the rear quarter panel just forward for the rear tires, Like many I removed them and prefer the cleaner look.
My order came in from the DMV earlier this week, pretty much the final touch for the exterior.
