My 1986 Century Gran Sport is my second one I have owned. I had my first in 1990-1991,but it was destroyed by my ex wife in an accident, Here is my latest one. It needs TLC,but I will try to bring it back to its former self.

This is the motor..166,200 AND RUNS STRONG! I am planning on pulling it and having the transmission rebuilt.A good time to repaint and detail. I'll add a few new gaskets and such to keep it looking good.

As you can see the GS badging was also included in the interior. On the passenger dash as well as the horn center.

This is the driver shot of the interior. This car sports a tilt wheel, gauges,Sport wheel, tachometer as well as other nice options like 6 way power seat, floor shift 4 speed auto, map light as well as rear defrost and GS specific floor mats.

Interior is pretty nice considering its 20 years old and was a daily driven car. It needS the driver seat lower fixed or replaced as well as new material on the seats. I'd like to locate some new material for the door panels as well.Overall, the interior is a 7 out of 10. The aftermarket Pioneer CD player will be replaced with a stock type unit.

The interior on the Century GS is similar to,but not exactly like a Buick GN. Notice the familiar door rust. I am currently hunting down a set of doors to replace the bad ones on this car,a thing which I found out isn't as easy as I thought.Cutlass Ciera doors are a direct replacement.

There were Buick decals that were included to have been installed in the front of the 2 doors as well as on the rear spoiler. They were in the trunk of the cars and installed by the dealers. Some cars received all three, some just the door decals alone, some received none.Usually, it was the owner who dictated which were to be added. Since my car has an old repaint, the decals are missing. I managed to locate a NOS replacement and am waiting to receive it. There is a company who reproduces them all. Their website is, http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/gm/1986bgs.htm

This is my first Century Gran Sport. It only had 29,000 miles on it when I purchased it in 1990. It had 62,000 when it was totalled.I didn't take many good close ups of this car and wish I did now. I have the original buildsheet, window sticker as well as floor mats and brochure for it.

This is the brochure you could get at the GM dealer telling you more about the Century GS cars.
