The movie starts, a title rolls.
Dents.
Chapter 1, the pop up era.
Staring 240sx, born in 1991 she is looking a bit long in the tooth but is spry for her old age. Her eyes are tired from long years of abuse in sunny California.
This is a comedy. A comedy of errors. It begins, a simple being. An aggressive stance, it's hind legs perched in attack position, not low and aerodynamic but high and able to pass over mountainous terrain.
It is new to this town, pie in the sky dreams, but a wallet filled with lint and business cards. It yearns to look like a tortoise, a turtle, with it's stubby feet. It's dreams are achieved with the help of it's good friend Konig. Her new arms are adorned in Falken Azenis sleeves, able to grip on any surface in any condition.
With a look anew, this turtle eagerly awaits his race with the hares. A bulletin is posted at the local rabbit hole, Tommy Turtle of Speedtrial Forrest is holding an event! Our intrepid novice leaps at the chance, well, leaps as high as a turtle can.
The competition is fierce, Courtney Corvette is there along with the Porsche sisters. Our turtle faces defeat in the face of such adversity. They trample her, crushing her under the weight of their powerful hooves.
The turtle's mind is in the game, but it is her heart that is not in it. Slowed from the passing of time and abuse in the past, the powerplant must go.
She is seen here warming the hands of locals on a wintery day.
After a long week of intensive surgery by a group of untrained gorillas, the transplant is complete. Like the six million carrot rabbit, this turtle has transformed into a viable competitor. Stronger, faster, louder.
The SR20 heart in play, our hero signs up again for the hare's race. This time hosted by Industry Track Day. It'll show them a thing or two!
Ironically, our hero does not triumph. Nay, his mind, may you say, his driver, is inept at the task he is given. Cornering is an unsteady task, footing is unsure, the beast slides and the mind does not know how to cope with it, control it.
It is time for change...
