this is my 1982 bmw E28 525i
its my first beamer, but i love it so it certainly won't be my last.
I sprayed the taillights red to modernize it a bit
when i bought it the front seats were worn, so i put in these blue one's it matches the outside nicely
the orininal trx wheels were powder coated, but i didn't like the look of it.
so i put on these 16 inch rims off a bmw E46
it was verry silent going down the street, so i replaced the muffler by a cherry bomb

some years have passed sinds i put my e28 on this page. sinds then i bought a e34 525i executive 2 touring in calipso red:
i didn't like the wheels though, so i put the wheels that were under my e28 on it
with the e34 now being my 'daily driver' i decided to bring the e28 back to its original state.
also becourse it is now 26 years old an has become a classic car.
on these pictures the white indicator lights are still on, but they were also replaced with the original orange ones.
in februari 2008 i bought my own house, so for financial reasons i had to let go of my e34 525i.
this meant that the e28 became my daily driver again.
but rust had become a big issue on this car and the clear coat on all the horisontal pannels came off.
with 250.000km's on the car i decidet to look out for a replacement.
so in march 2009 i found my new e28!!!!
it is a 520i (small six) automatic 1986 with only 92.000 km's on the clock!!
the (only) previous owner was a old man from amsterdam, who saved all the documentation, but sadfully parked it in a bussy street.
so it was full of small dents and skreches, i allready removed the most of them, now i only have to replace the doors.
I started to inprove the car a bit, so i added a very rare electric sun screan
